The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 and a few from later times. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water everflowing. 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And carpets raised. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 So made them as maidens. 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
