The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 and amid the extended shade 30 and flowing water 31 and fruit abounding, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 We have made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
