۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
