▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
