▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
