Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
