۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
