Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All that is in the heavens and earth exalt Allah. He is the Almighty, the Wise. 1 His is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; He grants life and deals death; and He has the power to will anything. 2 He is the first and He the last, the transcendent and the immanent; and He has knowledge of everything. 3 It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established His Dominion over the Throne. He knows whatever enters into the earth, what comes out of it, what descends from the sky, and what ascends to it. He is with you wherever you may be and He is Well Aware of what you do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision). 5 He causes the night to pass into the day and the day to pass into the night. And He knows all that is in the hearts of men. 6 Believe in God and His Messenger, and expend of that unto which He has made you successors. And those of you who believe and expend shall have a mighty wage. 7 What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers? 8 It is He Who sends down clear verses upon His chosen bondman, in order to take you out from the realms of darkness towards light; and indeed Allah is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful upon you. 9 Why should you not spend for the cause of God, when God alone holds the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those of you who spent and fought before the victory will be higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Yet God has promised you all a good reward. He is aware of all that you do. 10
