Say: 'People of the Book, let us come to a common word between us and you that we will worship none except Allah, that we will associate none with Him, and that none of us take others for lords besides Allah' If they turn away, say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims' 64 O people of the Book, why dispute about Abraham? The Torah and the Gospel were sent down after him: Do you not understand? 65 Indeed, you have disputed about that which you have knowledge. Why then dispute about that of which you have no knowledge? Allah knows and you do not know. 66 Ibrahim was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was (an) upright (man), a Muslim, and he was not one of the polytheists. 67 Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers. 68 Some of the followers of earlier revelation would love to lead you astray: yet none do they lead astray but themselves, and perceive it not. 69 People of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in God's signs, which you yourselves witness? 70 People of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with vanity, and conceal the truth and that wittingly? 71
