۞ Do you see those who have been guided by a nation that incurred the Wrath of Allah? They belong neither to you, nor to them, and knowingly they swear to lies. 14 Allah has kept prepared a severe punishment for them; indeed they commit extremely evil deeds. 15 They have made their oaths a shield, and obstruct people from the way of God. There is shameful punishment for them. 16 Neither their riches nor their children shall avail them anything against God; those -- they are the inhabitants of the Fire, therein dwelling forever. 17 This shall befall on a Day whereon Allah shall raise them all together; then they will swear unto Him even as they swear unto you, deeming themselves up on aught. Lo! verily they! they are the liars. 18 The devil hath engrossed them and so hath caused them to forget remembrance of Allah. They are the devil's party. Lo! is it not the devil's party who will be the losers? 19 Verily those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be among the most abject beings. 20 Allah has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. 21 You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day befriending those who oppose Allah and His Messenger even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. He has inscribed faith in their hearts and has strengthened them with a spirit from Him, and He shall make them enter Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Therein they shall abide. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. They belong to Allah's party. Verily Allah's party shall prosper. 22
