O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 And let there be of you a community calling others to good and commanding that which is reputable and prohibiting that which is disreputable. And these they are the blissful. 104 Be not as those who scattered and fell into variance after the clear signs came to them; those there awaits a mighty chastisement, 105 On the Day (of Resurrection) when some faces will be shining and some faces black; so, (to) those whose faces are blackened, “What! You disbelieved after you had accepted faith! Therefore now taste the punishment, the result of your disbelief.” 106 But as for those with shining faces, they shall abide forever in God's grace. 107 These are God's messages: We convey them unto thee, setting forth the truth, since God wills no wrong to His creation. 108 And to Allah only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth; and towards Allah only is the return of all matters. 109
