Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God. His is the Kingdom, and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. 1 It is He Who has created you, so among you one is a disbeliever whereas another is a Muslim; and Allah is seeing your deeds. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and to Him is the ultimate resort. 3 He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you disclose. Allah even knows what lies hidden in the breasts of people. 4 Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment. 5 That was because their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they replied, "Shall mortals be our guides?" And so they rejected the truth and turned away. God has no need of such people; God is self-sufficient and worthy of all praise. 6 The unbelievers assert that they will never be raised up. Say: 'Yes indeed, by my Lord! You shall be raised up, then you shall be told the things you did. That is easy for God.' 7 Believe in Allah, and His Messenger, and in the Light which We have sent down. Allah is Aware of all that you do. 8 The Day on which He will gather you for the Day of Gathering; that is the Day of Loss and Gain. He who believes in Allah and does good deeds, Allah will acquit him of his evil deeds and admit him to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where he shall live for ever. That is the mighty triumph. 9 And those who disbelieved and denied Our signs, are the people of the fire – to remain in it forever; and what a wretched outcome! 10
