Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God. His is the Kingdom, and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. 1 It is He who has created you all but some of you have accepted the faith and some of you have not. God is Well Aware of what you do. 2 He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal. 3 He knoweth all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He knoweth what ye conceal and what ye publish. And Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men). 4 Hath not the tidings reached you of those who disbelieved aforetime, and so tasted the evil consequence of their affair, and theirs will be a torment afflictive? 5 That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise. 6 They who are bent on denying the truth claim that they will never be raised from the dead! Say: "Yea, by my Sustainer! Most surely will you be raised from the dead, and then, most surely, will you be made to understand what you did [in life]! For, easy is this for God!" 7 So believe in Allah and His messenger and the light which We have revealed. And Allah is Informed of what ye do. 8 The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. 9 But those who denied the truth and rejected Our signs shall be the inmates of the Fire, there to remain -- what an evil destination! 10
