No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if any one believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things. 11 Obey God and obey His Apostle. If you turn away, the duty of the Apostle is to convey the message clearly. 12 Allah, there is no god but He; and upon Allah, then, let the believers rely. 13 O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allah), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 14 Your possessions and your children are only a trial, and Allah it is with Whom is a great reward. 15 So fear God as far as you are able, and give ear, and obey, and expend well for yourselves. And whosoever is guarded against the avarice of his own soul, those -- they are the prosperers. 16 If you lend to God a good loan, He will multiply it for you, and will forgive you. God is All-thankful, All-clement, 17 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, the Mighty, the Wise. 18
