No affliction falls except by the permission of Allah. For those who believe in Allah, Allah will guide his heart. Allah has knowledge of all things. 11 Obey God and the Messenger, but if you turn away, know that the only duty of Our Messenger is to clearly preach. 12 Allah - there is no deity except Him. And upon Allah let the believers rely. 13 O YOU who have attained to faith! Behold, some of your spouses and your children are enemies unto you: so beware of them! But if you pardon [their faults] and forbear, and forgive - then, behold, God will be much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. 14 Your wealth and your children are only a trial; God's reward is great: 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 If you lend to God a good loan, He will multiply it for you, and will forgive you. God is All-thankful, All-clement, 17 Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. 18
