Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
