It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to sink beneath you and then begin to quake? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? 18 And did they not see the birds above them, spreading and closing their wings? None except the Most Gracious holds them up; indeed He sees all things. 19 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 20 Or who is he that will provide for you if He should withhold His providence? Nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 SAY: "[God is] He who has brought you [all] into being, and has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and hearts: [yet] how seldom are you grateful!" 23 Say: 'It was He who created you, dispersing you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered' 24 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 25 Say, "God knows best. I am only one who gives warning". 26 At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!" 27 Say: 'What think you? If God destroys me and those with me, or has mercy on us, then who will protect the unbelievers from a painful chastisement?' 28 Say: 'He is the All-merciful. We believe in Him, and in Him we put all our trust. Assuredly, you will soon, know who is in manifest error. 29 Say to them: “Did you even consider: if all the water that you have (in the wells) were to sink down into the depths of the earth, who will produce for you clear, flowing water?” 30
