It is He who has made the earth submissive to you. Walk about in its land and eat of His provision. To Him is the Resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up while it shakes? 16 Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not let loose upon you a storm of stones? Then shall you know what My warning is like! 17 Those who went before them belied [the truth]: then how great was My rejection of them. 18 Have they not seen the birds above them spreading out their wings and closing them? Naught upholdeth them save the Beneficent. Lo! He is Seer of all things. 19 Do you have any armies who will help you against the Beneficent God? The disbelievers are certainly deceived (by satan). 20 Who shall provide for you if He withholds His sustenance? Nay; but they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 Is he, then, who goeth about grovelling upon his face better directed, or he who walketh evenly on a straight path? 22 Say: 'It is He who produced you, and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts; little thanks you show!' 23 Say: “Allah it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you will be mustered.” 24 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak truly?' 25 Say thou: the knowledge is only with Allah, and I am but a warner manifest. 26 When they see the torment approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will blacken and they will be told, "This is what you wanted to (experience)". 27 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If Allah destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His Mercy on us, - who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?" 28 Say: 'He is the Merciful. In Him we believe and in Him we put all our trust. Indeed, you shall soon know who is in clear error' 29 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?" 30
