Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The true event! 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 And what shall make thee know that which the Inevitable Calamity is. 3 THE LIE gave [the tribes of] Thamud and 'Ad to [all tidings of] that sudden calamity! 4 Thamood, they were destroyed by the violent shout (of Gabriel), 5 And the 'Ad were destroyed by the furious cold blast of roaring wind 6 Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. 7 and dost thou now see any remnant of them? 8 Pharaoh and those before him and the people of the overturned habitations all engaged in the same great sin. 9 And disobeyed (each) the messenger of their Lord; so He punished them with an abundant Penalty. 10 Surely We bore you up in the ship when the water rose high, 11 So that We may make it a reminder to you, and that the retaining ear might retain it. 12 With the first blast of sound from the trumpet, 13 the earth and mountains will be raised up high and crushed all together. 14 On that day shall the great event come to pass, 15 and the sky will be rent asunder - for, frail will it have become on that Day; 16 And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them. 17 That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden. 18 Then, as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he will say: Take, read my book! 19 Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning. 20 Then he shall find himself in a life of bliss; 21 in a lofty Garden 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 (And it will be said unto those therein): Eat and drink at ease for that which ye sent on before you in past days. 24 And as for him who is given his book in his left hand he shall say: O would that my book had never been given me: 25 Nor known whatever was my reckoning! 26 "Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me! 27 My wealth has not availed me, 28 My authority is gone away from me. 29 "Seize him and manacle him, 30 then cast him in the Fire, 31 then in a chain seventy arm's lengths long insert him. 32 for he did not believe in Almighty God, 33 nor did he urge the feeding of the needy. 34 So no friend has he here this Day, 35 neither any food saving foul pus, 36 None will eat it except the sinners. 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
