I swear by all that you can see, 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
