Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
