NAY, but consider the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to humans, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
