By the moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning for people -- 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About the guilty: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
