Nay, by the moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 a warning to humankind, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 except those of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
