No! By the moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 we fed not the needy, 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
