No! By the moon 32 by the retreating night, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
