▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Yes, never!* By oath of the moon. (Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 Warn the men. 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 From the guilty. 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
