Nay, by the Moon 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 "Nor used to feed the needy." 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. The disbelievers will not have any intercessor. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
