Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to mortal man 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
