By no means! By the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About the guilty: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Till death overtook us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
