Yes, never!* By oath of the moon. (Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 Warn the men. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 about the sinners. 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
