Nay! By the moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 That Hell is surely one of the greater signs, 35 A warning unto humankind 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 From the guilty. 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
