Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 Does man think that We shall not gather his bones? 3 Yea indeed, We are able to make whole his very finger-tips! 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 But when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. 12 Man shall on that day be informed of what he sent before and (what he) put off. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though he offers his excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad SAW) the ability to recite it (the Quran), 17 When We have recited it, follow its words attentively; 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now 20 and give no thought to the life to come [and to Judgment Day]! 21 How many faces will be refulgent on that Day, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 dreading some great affliction. 25 By no means! When it cometh up to the collar-bone. 26 And they will say, “Is there any one – any magician?” 27 And he is sure that it is the (hour of) parting 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 To your Lord on that day shall be the driving. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
