VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 and glorify your Lord morning and evening; 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). 27 We created them and fixed their bones and joints; and We could replace them when We like with others like them. 28 Verily this is an Exhortation; so let him who so will take a way to his Lord. 29 And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. 30 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
