Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To clear or to warn. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
