Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
