Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 storming tempestuously 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 separating one from another, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
