Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 excusing or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed time? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
