In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 As justification or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 as black camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
