Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
