The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the angels who violently pull out the souls of the wicked, 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 by those that outstrip them suddenly, 4 And those who govern the event, 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 On that Day some hearts shall tremble (with fright), 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 even after we have been reduced to bones, hollow and rotten?” 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 And they will wake up suddenly. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 When his Lord called to him in the holy valley, Towa: 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 Then turned he away in haste, 22 and gathered his people together 23 And then said, “I am your most supreme lord.” 24 So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last [i.e. his saying: "I am your lord, most high") (see Verse 79:24)] and first [(i.e. his saying, "O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I" (see Verse 28:38)] transgression. 25 Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
