The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 And who glide with ease. 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], 6 Followed by the second blast, 7 Hearts that Day will be in agitation; 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 and behold, they are awakened. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 That “Go to Firaun – he has rebelled.” 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 He showed him the mighty sign, 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
