The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy), 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 What must happen afterwards shall follow it. 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 and eyes will be humbly cast down. 9 [And yet,] some say: "What! Are we indeed to be restored to our former state 10 Even if we should be decayed bones? 11 They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 and behold, they are awakened. 14 Have you received the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 Wherefore Allah laid hold of him with the punishment of the Hereafter and of the present. 25 Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
