[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the present life, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
