(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
