What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
