Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
