(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
