What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 But how are you to know? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
