Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
